This 'temporary cinema' (one of 5 still remaining in Delhi) and thrives by continuing to provide affordable entertainment (the cheapest ticket costing a mere Rs 20 and a prized balcony seat available at Rs 50.) to people belonging to economically weaker sections in the face of the onslaught of much more expensive multiplexes where seats usually cost Rs 250 rising to over a thousand. The cinema shows mainly Bhojpuri films.
